The bounties for attacking and killing U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- $ 250.00 and $ 1,000.00 respectively -- have been dramatically raised to as much as $ 1,000.00 per attack and $ 5,000.00 per confirmed killed U.S. soldier, according to Major General Ray Odierno in Tikrit.
